NCCI Quick Check Feature
There are over 350,000 active and retired edits in the NCCI system. Flash Code allows you to perform a Quick Check of any two codes to see if they are affected by the edits and provides all pertinent details from the official government files.

1. Click the Quick check button so you can enter two codes for evaluation.
1., 2. Enter the codes you wish to view here. click the tab key to alternate between the two.

The fee amount and description will automatically fill in when you tab out of the Code field.

3. If you want to clear the Quick Check screen so that you can enter new codes, just click the Reset button.

To see the NCCI edits at work, click on the May Codes be billed together? button. This will compare the two codes against the 350,000+ edits in the system.

4. The CCI edit information is listed displayed here. It includes:

-if the code pair is in the edit list
-the starting date for an active edit
-the ending date when the edit has been retired
-whether the pair can be billed if submitted with a modifier
-the administrative explanation

5. When you are finished checking code pairs, click the Done button.

6. If you wish to print this edit, click the Print button-you can print the entire page with the option to show your fees or hide them.
