The CPT SECTION headings may be viewed at any time by clicking on the CPT Bookshelf or CODES spine. Once Clicked you will see the following:
-The default setting of SURGICAL section headings
-Icons for each of the six sections and Category II & III codes
-Any applicable notes are indicated by an active NOTES button. Click the button to view the note content.
-A forward arrow and code range link that will display section subheadings when clicked

CPT Chapter Subheadings are viewed by clicking the forward button or number link from section headings or by clicking the [S] button from the codes. Once clicked you will see the following:
-An [H] button that returns you to chapter headings
-An active [S] button that indicates your current location in the hierarchy
-An active NOTES button if notes are present. Click the button to view the note content.
-A forward arrow and code range link that, when clicked, will display the codes associated with its subheading.

CPT Procedure codes are organized as follows:
-All codes have 5 characters

-Category II codes end in the letter "F"

-Category III codes end in the letter "T"
