The HCPCS table of drugs includes over 1,300 listings. Each listing may be present by generic name or as its trade name, along with a link to its generic name.
The HCPCS Drugs were scheduled to be replaced by National Drug Codes (NDC) by a provision in HIPAA legislation. However, at this time both code sets are in use.
The NDC codes are included in Flash Code and may be searched for as a CPT/HCPCS/NDC search option (click the Search Function TOPIC for more information regarding NCD code searching) |
